The following titles are French poems that I wrote
in January 1994 to my ex-fiancée..
To make a long story short, I had to leave Montreal on September 29th, 1993 in order to establish my fiber optics signs and lighting factory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Due to numerous technical, financial and political complications, I found myself stuck there for four months. These were probably the darkest and most depressing days of my life... You'll read all about it in my SCATS experience (SCATS is the name of my company, and stands for: Saudi Canadian Animated Technological Signs) What I didn't suspect though, was that it was only the beginning of my suffering... The cherry on the topping was yet to reveal itself; my beloved fiancée, lover and best friend, woke me up at 1:00 a.m., morning of January 3rd, 1994 (January 2nd, 5:00 p.m. in Canada), announcing to me she was having an affair with a colleague at work. The call crushed me down... I couldn't sleep for the next four months... I lost almost 45 lb in less than a month, and my journey to a new "me" began... I'll tell you all about it in another place, because this one is for the poetry : love, hate, tears, broken heart, remorse... the total humiliation stuff! (Should have you been there before, then you must know what I mean! :) I wrote all the following poems using the Canadian French style (Quebec). I did so on purpose, as I find the Quebec French to be extremely expressive and down to earth. If you are a Quebecer, I am sure you will enjoy reading them. * Moi
je te voulais "Star" Now, how about taking a look at some of the lyrics of my English songs? Maintenant, aimeriez-vous lire les paroles de quelques unes de mes chansons françaises?
